Carrie Underwood’s 40 Carat Tiara

Carrie Underwood’s 40 Carat Tiara

The wedding of American Idol singer Carrie Underwood and hockey pro Mike Fisher was a predictably lavish event. Sparkles were certainly present in abundance – even the dog, Ace, wore a special diamond brooch on his canine tuxedo!

But the show-stopper in terms of jewelry was Underwood’s tiara, made with a massive 40 carats of diamonds! The tiara was a gift from her husband and was created by Jonathon Arndt who kept the design a secret before the wedding. The tiara was made from 18 karat gold in a Victorian style design with vines and flowers.

Arndt also designed the wedding bands for the couple. “Hers” is designed to complement her engagement ring and includes both round and princess cut flawless white diamonds. “His” sounds intriguing: apparently it includes “hidden diamonds”.
