The US reality show The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love reached its conclusion on ABC this week. Bachelor Jake Pavelka finally proposed to series winner, fitness instructor Vienna Girardi. To help him pop the question in St Lucia Pavelka presented Girardi with a $50,000 diamond ring.
The ring is a handcrafted platinum Neil Lane ring set encrusted with diamonds. The central princess cut diamond weighs 2.02 carats. A further 70 small diamonds take the total carat weight up to 2.72 carats.
Lane has previously supplied rings for Hollywood celebrities including Sandra Bullock, Brooke Shields and Reese Witherspoon.
