Good news for the lover of expensive luxury and conspicuous consumption: House of Borgezie has announced the availability of a pair of gold and diamond stilettos.
The Eternal Borgezie Diamond Stiletto is made from 30 parts including a solid gold or platinum foot section. The shoe is then finished with over 2,200 round brilliant cut diamonds – a total weight of 30 carats. Special features of the Eternal Diamond Stiletto include a patented Stamen Fluted Heel and heart shaped sole and heel pieces which can be removed and replaced when needed. The design was created by British designer Christopher Michael Shellis whose previous work has included diamond encrusted solid gold watches and solid gold diamond-set cufflinks for gentlemen.
The Eternal Borgezie Diamond Stilettos are made to order with prices starting at £100,000. Rumours are already flying as to which celebrities might be likely to order them. Whoever buys them probably won’t have to worry about running for the last bus…
